Join Our Exceptional Critical Care Team at The William Harvey Hospital

Are you a motivated Registered Nurse looking to start or continue your career in Critical Care? Come join our fantastic team!

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities for Registered Nurses in the Critical Care department at The William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent. We are also pleased to offer a relocation package to help make your transition easier.

We take great pride in delivering high-quality, holistic care, as demonstrated by our CQC reports, ICNARC data, performance metrics, and feedback from patients, families, and visitors.

Our busy, mixed-level unit admits both emergency and elective patients from a range of specialties, including maxillo-facial surgery and pPCI, covering Kent.

We are a friendly, dynamic, and supportive team that is committed to professional development and forward-thinking practices.

Are you a newly qualified nurse or an experienced Critical Care nurse?
We will customize an education package for you with our dedicated Critical Care Education team, who will provide ongoing support and encourage your education and development.

In return for your hard work and commitment, our Critical Care Education team offers an excellent, structured development programme for Band 5 nurses, helping you gain the skills and knowledge needed to become an outstanding Critical Care nurse. You will also have access to development opportunities through our collaborations with Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Greenwich.

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people. Our vision is “great healthcare from great people”, and everything we do is guided by our values: “People feel cared for, safe, respected, and confident that we are making a difference.” Our new way of working, called ‘We Care’, empowers frontline staff to drive daily improvements, and we are seeking compassionate individuals to join us in making a positive difference for patients, families, and carers.
