Home Care Assistants – Community-Based Care
Location: Blackburn, Darwen, Rossendale, Accrington, Clitheroe, Colne, Nelson, Burnley & Barnoldswick
Pay: £12.21–£18.75 per hour
Hours: 20–40 per week (Part-time & Full-time available)
Job Types: Full-time | Part-time | Permanent | Temp-to-perm

Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference? Primary Carers 24/7 is seeking compassionate Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care in the community. You’ll support individuals in their own homes, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, hygiene, medication, and meal preparation
  • Deliver person-centred support that promotes dignity and respect
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and team members
  • Work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
  • Travel between client homes (a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential)

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring attitude and commitment to improving lives
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available for outstanding candidates)
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references
  • Previous care experience is helpful but not essential—your mindset and work ethic matter most
