Salary: UofG Grade 6, £33,232 – £36,924 per annum

We’re looking for a Chinese Social Media Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on how we engage with our Chinese audience, which includes current students, prospective students, alumni, and partners.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage the University’s Chinese social media channels.
  • Create and share engaging content that connects with current and prospective students, alumni, and other key stakeholders.
  • Help grow and nurture the University’s presence and brand in China, increasing our reputation and reach within this community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across External Relations and the broader University to ensure we deliver a comprehensive, student-focused communication strategy.
  • You’ll be reporting to the Head of Social Media and Student Communication and working closely with various teams to ensure that our communications resonate with our Chinese audience.
  • This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent position.
