Job Description

Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, multi-project programs focused on Cloud, On-Premise Hosting, Data, and AI initiatives. You will oversee project delivery across multiple technical and business domains, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll work closely with technology leaders, business stakeholders, and global teams to define execution standards, drive operational excellence, and deliver innovative digital transformation outcomes aligned with GE’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

  • Oversee multiple interdependent projects within a larger program, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Define and implement standard project management methodologies across all projects in the program.
  • Collaborate with business and technical leaders to define project functionality, scope, and requirements.
  • Develop multi-generational project strategies to achieve defined business outcomes.
  • Lead global cross-functional project teams — both internal and external — aligned to budget, scope, and timelines.

Execution & Risk Management

  • Manage daily project execution and coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Identify and resolve interdependencies and operational roadblocks to maintain programme momentum.
  • Oversee risk management, change control, and escalation of non-standard events.
  • Monitor and report progress to stakeholders, including leadership and executives.
  • Validate project deliverables to ensure they meet quality and customer expectations.

Financial & Outcome Management

  • Conduct initial and final financial reviews, ensuring accurate budget tracking throughout each project’s lifecycle.
  • Track and report outcomes against key metrics such as cost, schedule, scope, and customer satisfaction.
  • Capture lessons learned and integrate improvements into future delivery practices.

Technical Focus

Lead projects primarily within Hosting (Cloud & On-Premise) environments — including migrations, builds, integrations from mergers or acquisitions, and ongoing operations.

Apply FLIGHT DECK principles and operational rhythms to ensure consistent performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum (US Candidates)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least 5 years of professional experience,
OR Associate’s degree with 8 years,
OR High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of program management experience in Enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI environments.
  • Military experience will be considered equivalent to professional experience.
  • Minimum (UK Candidates)
  • Significant professional Program Management experience in Enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI.
  • Eligibility
  • Legal authorization to work in the US or UK is required.

  • Certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or equivalent are highly desirable.
