Role Overview

As an Assistant Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations while maintaining the brand’s food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indo-Chinese menu items such as chilli chicken, noodles, fried rice, and Manchurian dishes.
• Manage daily mise en place and ensure ingredient readiness.
• Uphold kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Consistently follow standardised recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Help manage kitchen inventory and oversee stock rotation.
• Support kitchen workflow, particularly during high-demand periods.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience (preferably in Chinese or Indo-Chinese cuisine).
• Familiarity with wok cooking techniques and knowledge of Asian spices.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform under pressure.
• Food hygiene certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
