Job Title: Project Management Associate – GEV Projects

Purpose of the Role:
The Project Management Associate (PMA) plays a key role in supporting the Project Manager by coordinating all key operational activities related to warranty projects. This role involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, requiring a solid understanding of project management principles and strong interpersonal skills—including the confidence to ask challenging questions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities and tasks assigned by the Project Manager for relevant projects.
  • Track and manage both internal and customer reports, ensuring timely completion and regular updates to the PM.
  • Ensure technical reports are completed and submitted to customers as required.
  • Liaise with Sourcing & Procurement teams, as well as external suppliers.
  • Support the SPT process for raising purchase requisitions and follow up with Sourcing and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls and Site teams to ensure timely achievement of project KPIs.
  • Maintain logs of project-related bonds, contracts, POs, and variation orders.
  • Manage and organise the project documentation and filing system.
  • Assist with the purchase requisition process, including tracking and follow-up with Procurement.

Qualifications:

  • HNC, Degree, or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a project management role within a similar environment is desirable but not essential.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to coordinate multiple project activities as directed by the PM.
  • Proficiency in at least one project planning tool (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).

Behavioural and Managerial Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to think critically and challenge progress against project schedules and deliverables when needed.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
