JOB SUMMARY

 

We are seeking Electrical Engineers for permanent on-site positions in Austria/Europe with a top firm in eVTOL propulsion solutions development. Our client is dedicated to aviation innovation and is looking for outstanding Electrical Engineers to join their team. This position necessitates relocation to Austria, with full visa sponsorship and relocation support given.

Role and responsibilities.

  • Lead and manage electrical projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for eVTOL propulsion.
  • Conduct thorough electrical testing and measurements to ensure system performance.
  • Proficiency with various tools and technologies, such as MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Git, and GitLab. Commitment to learning new tools and technologies as necessary.
  • English language abilities in speaking and writing are necessary.
  • The ability to communicate in German is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn German after the employment offer is confirmed is necessary.

Requirements

  • Willingness to move to Austria (Europe).
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar discipline.
  • Requirements: Three years of relevant experience, ideally in the aviation industry.
  • Experienced in developing, testing, and validating eVTOL technologies and propulsion systems.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Power Electronics: Expertise in inverters and motor controllers.
  • Experience designing and integrating battery management systems (BMS).
  • Proficient in high-voltage systems and safety regulations.
  • Heat Management: Understanding heat management for electrical components.
  • Signal Processing: Understanding signal processing techniques.
  • Experience with EMC testing and compliance.
  • Experience with systems engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of aircraft safety standards and regulations, such as DO-178C and DO-254.
  • Experience with model-based design in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Prototyping skills include quick prototyping and iterative development.
  • Understanding aeronautical communication systems and protocols.
  • Project management requires the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
