Job Description
To proceed with your application, please note that your data will be processed by our third-party recruitment provider, North London Partners Shared Service, who manage recruitment on behalf of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is the UK’s largest orthopaedic hospital and a global leader in our field. We offer a dynamic working environment where we support our frontline staff in driving improvements to help us achieve our vision: to be a world-leading neuro-musculoskeletal hospital that delivers exceptional patient care, outstanding staff experiences, cutting-edge research, and a solid foundation for education, training, and career growth. Our diverse workforce brings a wide range of expertise, benefiting both our patients and the Trust. At the RNOH, we bring unparalleled expertise together to provide some of the world’s most complex and innovative care to our patients.
We are rated “Good” by the CQC and have two locations—one in central London and one in Stanmore, which has recently opened The Stanmore Building, a state-of-the-art inpatient facility.
Our Research and Innovation Centre partners closely with our primary academic partner, University College London. We are recognized as a center of excellence, leading national initiatives such as the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) Programme.
We are currently undergoing a major redevelopment of our Stanmore site to improve and modernize our facilities, ensuring we maintain our position as the UK’s leading center for orthopaedic medicine.
According to the NHS staff survey, over 90% of our staff are satisfied with the quality of care they provide to patients—this is the best result of any NHS Trust in the country. Our staff also reported having the most positive experience with appraisals compared to other NHS Trusts.
This is an exciting time to join us and play a pivotal role in RNOH’s journey towards achieving an outstanding CQC rating.
Our goal is to remain a world-leading orthopaedic hospital, with the best patient care and staff experience in the NHS. To achieve this, we rely on four core values that guide everything we do:
- Patients first, always
- Excellence in all we do
- Trust, honesty, and respect for each other
- Equality for all
Our annual staff survey results continue to improve year after year, with staff reporting better experiences at the Trust and expressing strong loyalty and commitment to providing the best care for our complex patient group. We look forward to welcoming you to our growing team soon.
We are committed to equal opportunities and offer a variety of flexible working arrangements. We welcome applications for part-time and job-share positions.
We also welcome applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK. Please ensure you are eligible under the UKVI points-based system before submitting your application to avoid any disappointment.
