About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Team Administrator to support the CAMHS Single Point of Access and Think Together teams. This role is central to keeping services running smoothly and ensuring that young people and families receive timely and well-coordinated support.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where organisation, communication, and attention to detail are key. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team while also managing their own workload effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Clinical Team Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to clinicians and managers. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Managing diaries, appointments, and meeting schedules
    Preparing documentation, reports, and correspondence
    Taking accurate meeting notes and maintaining records
    Handling calls and enquiries with professionalism and sensitivity
    Updating and maintaining electronic systems and databases
    Supporting the coordination of clinical activities and service delivery
    Building effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams

This is a varied role that requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience), or willingness to work towards it
    Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent)

Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
    Experience managing workloads, diaries, and coordinating meetings
    Customer service experience (face-to-face, telephone, or written communication)
    Experience using administrative systems and processes
    Ability to work independently and proactively

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
    Strong organisational and time management skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication
    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
