Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Digital Business Partner to join its Digital Business Team based at King’s Mill Hospital. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in IT, digital strategy, and customer-focused service delivery within a healthcare environment.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Digital Business Partner, you will support the delivery of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) services by helping align customer requirements with organisational and NHS digital strategies. You will work closely with the Digital Business Partner and the Head of Strategy & Planning to ensure digital solutions effectively meet service needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in understanding customer ICT needs and aligning them with NHS digital strategies and internal processes
Support the development and implementation of tailored ICT solutions
Attend service reviews, project meetings, and stakeholder discussions, representing the Digital Business Team and NHIS (including occasional offsite or out-of-hours work)
Manage and respond to customer requests, contributing to service agreements and delivery plans
Address operational issues such as invoice queries and customer complaints through appropriate procedures
Maintain accurate internal documentation and liaise with project managers to resolve delays or service issues
Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Procure ICT equipment and services in line with financial and procurement regulations
