Oxford Ward, a 14-bed general medical ward at William Harvey Hospital, is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional leadership, guidance, and advice to Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, fostering collaboration with other disciplines.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring accurate and clear information is shared and properly documented.

Assist in maintaining and monitoring agreed standards of care, addressing any shortcomings with the Line Manager.

Ensure adherence to quality initiatives within the critical care environment, maintaining the highest standards of care at all times.

Contribute to the development and review of clinical protocols in partnership with the Ward/Unit Manager.

Maintain accurate, legible patient records in compliance with professional and legal requirements.

Promote and maintain strong working relationships and communication with consultants, medical staff, nursing colleagues, and multi-disciplinary teams.
