What does being a Care Assistant involve?
- Providing personal care such as assisting with showering/bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Offering practical support like laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments or social events
- Specialized care for individuals with specific needs
- Assisting clients with daily tasks
- Managing various medical conditions, including dementia, autism, and challenging behaviors
- Performing household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home environment
