Role Overview
This is a full-time permanent Veterinary Surgeon position within a well-established multi-site clinical network in the Richmond area. The role combines high-quality first-opinion care with access to 24-hour hospital support, offering a balanced mix of routine consultations, surgical work, and collaborative clinical practice.
You will be part of a structured rota system that supports both service continuity and work-life balance, with clear compliance standards aligned to UK veterinary regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality clinical care in both consultations and surgical procedures
Maintain full compliance with professional and regulatory veterinary standards
Develop personalised treatment plans in collaboration with pet owners
Work closely within a supportive multi-clinic veterinary team
Contribute to knowledge sharing and development across the Medivet network
Support consistent delivery of clinical excellence across branch and hospital settings
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week (full-time permanent role)
Participation in a structured weekend rota (1 in 6 weekends at 24-hour hospital OR 1 in 3 Saturdays in local clinics)
Coverage of 1–2 bank holidays annually
Integrated support from Richmond 24-hour hospital services
About You
You are a qualified veterinary surgeon registered with the MRCVS and committed to delivering high standards of clinical care.
You should demonstrate:
