As an AEH (Airborne Electronic Hardware) Certification Engineer, you will take the lead in certification efforts, including certification planning and regulatory compliance oversight, for various aviation systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of certification strategies and certification basis for projects.
  • Drive compliance planning and determine means of compliance.
  • Contribute to the creation of cohesive project plans.
  • Review development artifacts when applicable.
  • Conduct certification audit pre-assessments of both internal and external projects/suppliers.
  • Audit project/product artifacts and verification activities to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in customer and regulatory authority audits.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Teams to resolve audit findings and actions.
  • Engage in industry working groups.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Develop and deliver training modules as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with ASIC, FPGA, and CPLD technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, including Advisory Circular 20-152 and RTCA/DO-254.
  • Demonstrated experience with certification regulations and compliance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ASIC design and fabrication (both fabless and foundry).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead small teams.
  • Experience leading initiatives with moderate scope and impact.
