First-level registration
First-level degree in nursing or currently working towards it
Evidence of post-registration education or qualifications relevant to the specialty
Mentorship qualification
Experience

Significant post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
Experience in conducting quality audits
Proven skills in managing junior staff
Experience co-mentoring and assessing student nurses
Skills and Attitudes

Knowledge of current advancements and care pathways relevant to the specialty
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Competent in computer and keyboard usage
Familiarity with clinical governance, including handling complaints and risk management
