Job Description

  • Provide technical and engineering support to the manufacturing team to help meet production targets.
  • Use FRACAS tools to monitor and evaluate test performance for all nominated products within the manufacturing cell.
  • Conduct product health analysis for high-priority products, identify root causes of issues, and drive improvements. Suggest process and cost-saving opportunities to optimize production.
  • Lead root cause corrective action investigations for failed units in production or customer returns with zero flight hours. Perform fault diagnosis to the component level and capture trends to inform product improvements. Ensure timely feedback to customers.
  • Assess and approve non-conformances when applicable.
  • Assist with the introduction of new products into high-volume production, ensuring readiness of both product and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory regulations, standards, and company policies.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in an electronic discipline, or relevant experience and knowledge.
  • Proven experience in driving process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder requirements concurrently.
  • Experience in implementing root cause corrective actions.
  • Strong initiative and ability to proactively manage tasks and projects.
  • Excellent fault diagnostic skills at the component level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
