About the Job

As the Head of School for Accounting, Analytics, and Finance, you will provide dynamic academic leadership, strategic direction, and exceptional operational management for a newly established School within the Faculty of Business and Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the School’s programme portfolio, ensuring high academic standards, and continuously reviewing and developing new courses and curricula to address market demands.
  • Deliver outstanding student learning experiences that foster academic success, high student satisfaction, and strong graduate outcomes.
  • Cultivate an engaging and high-performance academic culture within the School, focusing on employee engagement, aspiration, trust, and well-being.
  • Support and enhance research and knowledge exchange to elevate the School’s reputation and profile.
  • While remote work is available, the number of remote days will fluctuate throughout each semester based on the needs of the role. This will be discussed further during the interview process.

Qualifications
Essential:

  • Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional experience in a subject relevant to the School or Faculty.

Desirable:

  • Doctoral qualification.
  • Registration with a relevant professional or regulatory body.
  • Professional recognition as an HEA Fellow (D2) or a teaching qualification recognized by HESA, or a willingness to obtain this within an agreed timeline.
