We collaborate globally with clients, contributing to cutting-edge technologies that shape the future of aviation.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our Civil Platforms Portfolio team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a cross-functional team throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept initiation (TG01) to product retirement (TG12). You will be responsible for managing and delivering all contracted program milestones, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business objectives. Acting as the primary point of contact for a strategic customer, your leadership will be key in fostering trust and collaboration, enabling long-lasting relationships.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will oversee program performance, financial objectives, and contract deliverables, while ensuring the program meets both business and customer expectations. You will also champion project governance and look for opportunities to enhance business cases and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with the customer, understanding their business, key stakeholders, and strategy. Represent the customer’s voice within the program to ensure their needs are reflected in all activities.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead clear and efficient communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including GE sites and senior executives. Provide regular program updates, present in technical and business forums, and manage challenging discussions as necessary.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify, assess, and address risks and opportunities throughout the program lifecycle. Develop strategies to improve business predictability and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Performance Management: Drive the performance of the program, focusing on key metrics like NPI milestones, on-time delivery of original equipment and aftermarket services, profitability, and design-to-cost activities. Remove execution barriers and ensure readiness for manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and after-sales support.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to contract service, performance specifications, and financial and technical metrics. Promote compliance and leverage best practices to deliver top-tier program execution.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with the EPM (Engineering Program Manager) to determine required resources for the program’s success. Work with resource owners to ensure the optimal allocation and use of resources to meet financial objectives.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the FLIGHT DECK team to implement LEAN methodologies into program operations. Partner with other business functions to integrate processes like design for manufacture, cost-effective design, and strategic sourcing into the program strategy.
- Supplier Management: Define product and service requirements, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure they meet cost, quality, schedule, and strategic objectives.
- Financial Planning: Assist in developing financial plans, including budgeting and strategy reviews. You will be responsible for delivering business cases and cost baselines, taking necessary actions to achieve financial targets and program deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in Product and Program Management, preferably within aerospace or a similarly regulated industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex programs.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and resolving issues.
- Program Management: Capability to document, plan, and execute high-impact programs effectively.
Desired Characteristics:
- FLIGHT DECK Experience: Experience with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals is a plus (for internal applications).
- Educational Background: A degree and/or master’s from an accredited institution.
