The Opportunity
We are seeking an impactful Communications Manager to elevate Childlight’s global reputation and influence. This pivotal role involves proactively promoting our ground-breaking research and activities, managing media relations, engaging extensively with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring effective internal communications.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term position until 30 April 2027. We are open to discussing part-time or flexible working patterns, and considering requests for hybrid working (a mix of remote and regular on-campus presence).
About You
You are an exceptional communicator with a passion for driving positive global change. You will bring:
- Significant media relations experience, with a nuanced understanding of global operating environments and diverse cultural contexts.
- AÂ proven track record in strategic communications, including building and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships, ideally within multi-sector programs or global institutions.
- Experience working across different cultural and country contexts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep passion for child safeguarding and a commitment to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation, improving services, and protecting children.
Please note: A Level 2 Disclosure (PVG/DBS check) will be required for this role.
