JOB SUMMARY

 

Are you an experienced carer seeking for a Monday-Friday position?If you also have a valid UK driver’s licence, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for innovative individuals to join our welcoming Community Learning team. Our goal is to offer a diverse range of learning and leisure experiences for adults with epilepsy and significant learning disabilities, allowing them to connect with their community while fostering independence. Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Organising and engaging in activities, both on and offsite.
  • Developing skills according to person-centered plans
  • Recording, encouraging, and celebrating people’ personal achievements.
  • Assisting with personal care and maintaining a clean atmosphere, ensuring that supplies are safely stored.

You must be committed, motivated, caring, and passionate about the people we support. We also require that you share and display our beliefs and passion for helping our clients live their lives as independently as possible. Complete training will be provided.The full-time hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a full manual UK driver’s licence, as you may be expected to drive our St. Elizabeth’s cars on occasion.

We can only sponsor successful candidates who have a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), meet the Home Office’s minimum income criteria for Skilled Worker visas, and are in accordance with St Elizabeth’s pay structure.
