We are seeking a Project Manager to join the eCare Programme within the Cornwall IT Service.

This is a fixed-term position, lasting until 30th September 2025. Secondments will be considered for internal applicants on a case-by-case basis.

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will report to a Senior Project Manager within the eCare programme and will oversee various workstreams supporting operational teams. Projects are executed in accordance with CITS Project Management procedures and PRINCE 2 methodologies and span a wide range of disciplines.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and leading projects within the eCare Programme that drive the development and implementation of eCare systems. You will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, bringing flexibility and motivation to the role. Teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate projects as directed by the Senior Project Manager or Senior Programme Manager.

Organise, lead, and document structured project meetings and discussions with customers, patients, suppliers, and system users.

Prioritize projects with input from the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, particularly when conflicts arise.

Oversee the specification, design, and modification of information systems, ensuring development work aligns with project goals.

Conduct impact analyses to support service changes post-project delivery.

Regularly create, manage, and update project documentation, including project plans, risk and issue logs, meeting minutes, and budgets using Microsoft Office or other tools.

Lead and motivate project teams, allocate tasks, and monitor daily activities to meet project targets.

Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective involvement in change management, delivery, and ongoing services, in line with customer organization policies.

Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, aligning with documented requirements.

Define project risk parameters and implement contingency plans; escalate issues as necessary to Senior Project Manager or Project Board.
