We are looking for Building Surveyors at all levels, including Senior, Associate and Building Surveyors, across the Northwest of England and Manchester. Warrington, Leeds, Liverpool, and Newcastle upon Tyne (NE) provide semi-hybrid working options.

We are looking for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor for our Newcastle office. We are looking for someone that is driven to succeed and appreciates working together in a dynamic team. In addition to technical knowledge, we are looking for someone who can think laterally, has excellent communication skills, is commercially aware, and will give first-class service to our clients. The postholder will collaborate closely with other members of the local team and report to the Associate Director.

  • Working on a variety of projects in various industries, performing building surveying duties.
  • Supporting the commission lead on various refurbishing projects, including client briefings, feasibility studies, specification preparation, consultant coordination, budget cost advice, tendering, and contract administration.
  • The use and application of standard building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
  • Assisted in the preparation and submission of Planning and Building Control permit applications.
  • Conduct surveys, inspections, and schedules; give professional services; and administer schemes.
  • Experience in flaw analysis, conducting building surveys, and preparing professional reports.
  • Due Diligence surveys.
  • Dilapidations include schedule planning and condition recording.
  • Surveys for planned maintenance.
  • Understand the quality, safety, and environmental norms that govern project management.
  • Measured surveys, including AutoCAD drawings.
  • Assisting senior managers in their daily tasks.



We are looking for a dedicated, sharp-minded Building Surveyor who has:

  • 3+ years of experience with building surveying
  • Excellent technical surveying skills and extensive building surveying expertise.
  • Experience managing clients’ expectations, as well as a solid understanding of profitability, business development, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent knowledge of drafting technical documentation.
  • Complete awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent time management, punctuality, and devotion to completing the work
  • A meticulous nature and keen eye for detail.
  • Desire to advance your career in a consulting setting.
  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong IT abilities, including Word, Excel, and MS Project at a minimum.
  • Good AutoCAD skills.
  • Ability to present effectively while possessing strong literacy and numeracy abilities.
  • Experience handling clients and their expectations.
