Leeds City Council is looking for a committed and capable Deputy Housing Options Manager to help lead the delivery of our vital homelessness and housing advice services.

About the Role

As Deputy Housing Options Manager, you will:

  • Play a key leadership role in Leeds Housing Options—the Council’s primary service supporting individuals who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in housing need.

  • Support the development and delivery of Leeds’ Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, driving forward key citywide priorities.
  • Manage statutory review processes, safeguarding responsibilities, and paralegal functions within the service.
  • Contribute to service improvement, workforce development, and enhanced customer experience.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the delivery and strategic direction of homelessness prevention in Leeds, making a tangible impact on the lives of residents.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings substantial experience in the homelessness or housing sector, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and policy.

  • Can confidently support service innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Has a passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals and communities.
