About the Role

The Support Manager will play a key role in LCP’s goal of becoming an AI-enabled, data-driven organization. Managing a team of seven across our London and Winchester offices, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional support services while optimizing operations. You will lead your team to implement innovative service strategies, continuously improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Head of Service and Automation, you will help enhance the support function, focusing on efficiency, automation, and service quality. A hands-on leader, you’ll identify inefficiencies, resolve issues, and drive the relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the support team across two offices (with potential for future expansion), fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize support capabilities, focusing on improving customer satisfaction through automation and process refinement.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, leveraging data to drive decisions and identify areas for innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Service and Automation to identify automation opportunities that enhance service delivery and self-service capabilities.
  • Manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring high-quality support services that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues, providing expert guidance and efficient resolution.
  • Drive the professional development of team members, identifying training opportunities to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors, ensuring collaboration towards common goals.
  • Report on key service metrics, demonstrating the impact and value of the support function to the organization.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing support teams in technology-driven, dynamic commercial environments.
  • Experience managing support functions for organizations with an international presence across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
  • Ability to implement effective support processes with a focus on automation and self-service capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a history of building high-performing, cohesive teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data to inform decisions and improve service delivery.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and other relevant service management frameworks, with practical experience applying them for optimal results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to navigate changing priorities and challenges with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Experience leading multi-location teams, demonstrating effective remote and in-person management.
