Assisting with agronomy activities and monitoring crop development
Conducting laboratory work, including processing and analysing crop, soil, and seed samples
Helping maintain research plots and field trial sites
Supporting students and researchers with practical aspects of their work
Occasionally assisting other technical teams across university farms and research facilities

Training will be provided for specialist equipment and techniques where required.

About the Environment

The Crops Research Unit operates within the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development and contributes to research aligned with global priorities such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in areas like food security and climate change.

This is a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where practical skills and innovation come together to support impactful research.
