About the Role

Join our ambitious and growing Learning Systems team within the Teaching & Learning Portfolio (Information & Digital Group). As a Senior Developer, you will:
🔹 Lead technical development of the University’s core Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and auxiliary systems
🔹 Enhance & support learning platforms, troubleshooting issues, applying fixes, and developing new features
🔹 Collaborate with internal teams & external vendors to optimize and integrate digital learning solutions
🔹 Shape the student learning experience, driving innovation and best practices in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

About You

✅ Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Moodle, lecture capture systems, and other educational technologies
✅ Coding & Development: Skilled in troubleshooting, integration, and scalable development with clean, well-documented code
✅ Collaboration & Agile: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment, engaging with stakeholders to optimize systems
✅ Problem-Solving & Communication: Able to simplify complex technical concepts and work effectively across teams
✅ Innovation-Driven: Passionate about emerging technologies and enhancing digital learning experiences
