Your Role in Practice
As Lead Vet, you’ll take on both clinical and leadership responsibilities. Your work will include:
- Managing consultations, surgeries, and ongoing patient care
Taking clinical ownership during sole charge days
Supporting and mentoring team members
Developing services aligned with your clinical interests
Ensuring high standards of care and compliance are maintained
Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week
1 in 3 Saturdays (based at a nearby practice)

About You
This role would suit someone who:
- Holds MRCVS registration
Has solid experience in small animal practice
Is confident working independently and leading a team
Has a strong interest in dermatology, ophthalmology, or another clinical niche
Communicates well and values client relationships
Is motivated to grow both personally and professionally
working as a regulated professional in the UK
