A day in the life of a chef de partie at (insert hotel name)

What you will do…

Reporting to the Head Chef, your daily responsibilities will include the following.

• Preparing food for service (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and functions)
• Serving food to guests
• Ensuring kitchen hygiene is maintained
• To operate effectively within a busy team

What We Need from You

To succeed as a chef, you will need the following attributes and skills.

• The capacity to comply with the company’s laws and regulations on policies and procedures related to fire, hygiene, health and safety, and licensing restrictions.
• Ability to oversee diverse portions of the kitchen while ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
• To be flexible in your approach, and able to support the Head Chef and any other members of the kitchen brigade as needed.
• A team member who thrives in the hustle and bustle of a bustling kitchen area.
• Someone who is passionate about cuisine and eager to learn.
• Previous experience in a similar position,
• Understanding of quality control and kitchen standards.
