A Day in the Life of a Guest Service Manager at J Marylebone London.

What you will do…

Your working day, as reported to the Deputy General Manager, will likely involve the following.

You will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Reception shift, including managing visitor expectations and providing excellent guest satisfaction. Checking in and out, completing proper billing and cashier tasks, and leading an excellent team of people. You will be expected to operate as Duty Manager on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate strong leadership abilities, provide good customer service, maintain a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be eager to learn, and demonstrate a genuine concern.

What We Need from You

To succeed as a Guest Service Manager, you will require the following attributes and talents.

We are searching for someone who can communicate well with others, follow instructions, pay close attention to detail, and is committed to giving exceptional service to our visitors. Experience in the hotel sector is required, as this is a customer-facing position, and comprehensive system training is offered.

  • Passionate about providing GREAT SERVICE and focussing on the guest,
  • Have previous experience as a receptionist, guest relations supervisor,
  • Experienced in managing guests’ enquiries and complaints,
  • Experience with MEWS or Opera PMS.
  • Are willing to learn new things and work as part of a large hotel team.
  • We are open seven days a week, 365 days a year, and need workers to work a variety of schedules and days, so we can provide excellent flexibility if necessary.
