JOB SUMMARY

 

Digital delivery is at the forefront of delivering continuing support and maintenance for our clinical and non-clinical digital systems, as well as implementing and deploying new digital systems.

We are searching for a Digital Service Manager to help us take the service ahead by developing and delivering a high-quality digital support service. You will be part of our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

The position is full-time and allows for hybrid working arrangements.

Main responsibilities, tasks, and abilities required

As the Digital Service Delivery Manager, you will provide advanced support to all aspects of work related to the delivery of a high-quality digital support service, ensuring and maintaining strong processes and procedures in the following areas: Service Desk, Systems Support, Data Quality, System Configuration, and Release Management.

You will become an important member of the management team, giving updates and assurance to the overall digital service for your areas of responsibility.

Previous expertise providing high-quality digital support services in a complicated setting while managing numerous important and non-clinical systems is required.

Qualifications

Essential

Educated to a degree level or have an adequate amount of training and experience in providing digital support services.

IT service qualifications, such as ITIL

Evidence of continuous professional improvement.

Desirable

Program and project management qualification, such as MSP, PRINCE2 or similar

Experience

Essential

Experience in leading clinical safety investigations and contributing to clinical safety assessment evaluations within the scope of digital systems.

Experience in leading and managing numerous teams to deliver commercial and clinical vital digital systems.

Significant expertise as a senior manager in the NHS, with hands-on delivery and administration of complex systems.

Significant experience managing several projects/priorities and fulfilling deadlines.

Specialist knowledge and experience in how systems can assist colleagues in the treatment/care of patients/clients

Experience working in a change environment with multiple stakeholders and suppliers to achieve engagement and deliver change.

Experience draughting complex reports and conducting assurance operations in accordance with best practices.

Working in conjunction with different stakeholders to achieve common goals and offer high-quality services

Additional Criteria:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse, interpret, and resolve difficulties

Ability to communicate information in a comprehensible manner to a non-technical audience, as well as evaluate, present, and interpret data from a variety of sources.

Excellent interpersonal, conversational, listening, and writing abilities.

Ability to negotiate, convince, and influence a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
