JOB SUMMARY
Allied Vehicles Limited is a renowned specialist in servicing and accident repair, with a reputation for quality. Good people are crucial to our success. We are looking for experienced technicians, senior technicians, master technicians, and dual brand master technicians (Ford + Peugeot, Citroen, or Vauxhall) to join our award-winning team.
The primary functions of the role include:
- Complete good quality maintenance and repairs of customer cars within given standard job times.
- Carry out MOT according to DVSA guidelines, if applicable.
- Specialise in diagnostics, effective route cause analysis, and repair.
- Inform the manager if more work is required on the vehicles, and ask their aid in correction of any defects.
- Maintain high levels of competence for the task to be done by participating in on-site training, attending courses at suppliers and manufacturers, and reading technical bulletins as needed.
- Discuss any concerns with clients’ automobiles, while maintaining professionalism and quality of service throughout.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, health and safety practices.
- Complete vehicle condition reports and job cards.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work closely with one of the industry’s most well-known figures. The ideal applicant will have substantial automotive industry expertise and be skilled in diagnostic repairs. You’ll understand what it takes to consistently produce quality.
An Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 3 City and Guilds or similar qualification is required.
A Master Technician or MOT Testers qualification is desired, but not required.
This position requires a full UK driver’s licence.
Visa sponsorship is available for this position.
Shift options include day shift (5 days) and night shift (4 nights).
The hourly salary for day shift starts at £20 per hour plus bonus.
The hourly salary for night shift starts at £26.60 per hour plus bonus.
