The School of Engineering & Informatics is searching for a motivated and devoted individual to offer effective cover throughout the school, assisting with teaching, research, and student project work. The position requires a proactive approach, initiative, and the capacity to work independently as well as with larger academic and technical teams.

The Senior Technician will provide professional teaching and research support to the school in operational resilience, strategy execution, and indirect research coordination, as well as directly organising requests for direct research help. The position focusses on the mechanical laboratories in JCW, Formula Student, and High Voltage electrical FS work, as well as directing the JCW labs’ operation and the electrical technician in JCW.
