Working collaboratively with the National Records of Scotland (NRS), we are responsible for running the Scottish Longitudinal Study (SLS) Development and Support Unit (SLS-DSU), which facilitates SLS use. You will collaborate with colleagues to provide technical support to researchers by creating and managing databases, extracting datasets, and facilitating their use in research. You will create and implement innovative solutions to problems such as managing collections of complicated datasets, guaranteeing adherence to data protection requirements, and applying statistical disclosure control procedures.

Your abilities and traits for success:

  • Experience creating and delivering database queries and data extracts.
  • The ability to transform project obstacles into successful solutions.

Please include a curriculum vitae and a cover letter with your application.
