We are currently looking for a skilled and creative Interior Designer/Decorator to join our dynamic team and help shape interiors that seamlessly blend style, function, and client vision.

Role Overview

As an Interior Designer/Decorator at Neo Build, you will take ownership of the visual and functional interior aspects of our construction projects. You’ll be involved in everything from concept development to material selection and onsite decorative execution—collaborating with architects, project managers, suppliers, and clients to deliver exceptional interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and present interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed plans

Select appropriate materials, furnishings, color palettes, and finishes

Create mood boards, CAD drawings, and digital visualizations

Coordinate and supervise the onsite installation of decorative finishes

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material sourcing

Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and accessibility standards

Provide hands-on decorative services such as painting, wallpapering, and feature detailing (if applicable)

Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design or decoration (residential or commercial)

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, trends, and spatial planning

Excellent eye for design, colour coordination, and detail

Strong communication and project coordination abilities

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

CSCS card (preferred)

Good knowledge of health & safety and sustainable design practices

Desirable Attributes

Experience within construction, architecture, or property development

Skilled in hands-on decorative finishes (e.g., wallpapering, feature walls)

Familiarity with BIM or digital design tools

Working knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001)

A strong design portfolio showing concept-to-completion work
