Blade Operator

Job Description

We’re currently looking for a Blade Operator to join our team at the Dowty Propellers site in Brockworth. This role involves executing manual processes in a production environment, either on a permanent shift or a rotating shift pattern.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blade composite processes such as Composite Layup, Preform & Foam, Blade Build, Resin Injection, and Deflashing

Identify and implement process improvements

Take ownership of Quality and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards

Conduct repairs as required

Key Qualifications:

Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking accountability for quality and EHS standards

Flexible approach to learning new skills and adapting across different work cells at the Dowty Brockworth site

Motivated to identify and implement process improvements

Experience in a flow-line production environment and familiarity with materials processing

Strong manual dexterity
