Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 (Gross OTE)
Hours: 38–48 hours per week, 5 days
Holiday: 28 days paid leave (pro rata)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Restaurant Manager for a high-end Indian and Nepalese restaurant located in Edinburgh. This is an exciting career opportunity for a hospitality leader who excels in operational management, guest experience, and team leadership within a prestige dining environment.

As a Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will span:

• Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations
• Ensuring exceptional customer service delivery
• Managing staff performance and training
• Implementing health and safety compliance (including HACCP)
• Driving business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Supporting marketing and sales initiatives
• Ensuring the highest standards of food service and hygiene

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Criteria:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Valid right to work in the UK, or eligible for Skilled Worker visa
• Knowledge of HACCP and health & safety regulations
• Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant POS and management systems
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities
• Business and financial acumen
• Ability to commute within one hour of Edinburgh

• A degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Hospitality Management
• Valid personal alcohol licence
• Energetic, driven, and results-focused
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable to fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Proficient in modern hospitality and sales tech platforms
• Strong eye for detail and customer-centric mindset
• Physically fit and in good health
