Job Description

Step Into a Leadership Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who’s ready to take the next step into leadership. At Medivet Adlington, you’ll have the chance to guide a well-established first-opinion practice, build strong client relationships, and shape the direction of clinical services.

With a loyal client base and consistent caseload, this role offers both stability and the freedom to introduce new ideas—especially if you have a clinical interest you’d like to develop further.

Why This Role Is Worth Considering

This position goes beyond routine practice work. It gives you the platform to:

  • Lead and influence the day-to-day running of a practice
Develop services in areas such as dermatology or ophthalmology
Build long-term relationships with clients and patients
Balance independent clinical decision-making with team support

Additional surgical resources available within nearby Medivet practices

The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care.

Your Role in Practice

As Lead Vet, you’ll take on both clinical and leadership responsibilities. Your work will include:

  • Managing consultations, surgeries, and ongoing patient care
Taking clinical ownership during sole charge days
    Supporting and mentoring team members
Developing services aligned with your clinical interests
Ensuring high standards of care and compliance are maintained
Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients
