Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time – 27 Hours)

Medivet Yateley is stepping into an exciting new phase in 2026 with the arrival of our new Partner, Sophie. As we continue growing our client base in the local community, we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who wants to be part of something positive, progressive and genuinely supportive.

We’re a small, welcoming team that believes great veterinary care starts with collaboration, curiosity and kindness — both to pets and to each other. With continued investment in equipment, including a brand-new dental X-ray unit being installed shortly, we’re building a practice where clinical standards and enjoyment in case work go hand in hand.

 The Role

This is a part-time position (27 hours per week) structured as:

  • Thursdays & Fridays: 9:00am – 7:00pm at Yateley
  • One additional weekday at our Bisley branch
  • Participation in the weekend rota at our 24-hour hospital
  • If you would like to increase your hours, additional sessions may be available across nearby branches.

 What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care during consultations and procedures
  • Develop practical, tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
  • Work closely with a supportive nursing and clinical team
  • Maintain excellent clinical governance and compliance standards
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the development of colleagues across the Medivet network

 Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be:

  • A qualified MRCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Confident in general practice medicine and routine surgery
  • A team-focused clinician who values collaboration
  • Committed to clinical excellence and continuous learning

If you trained overseas and wish to practise in the UK, you must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Official registration guidance
