Position Overview
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established and collaborative obstetrics and gynecology team. This full-time hospital-employed role combines inpatient and outpatient care and offers a competitive benefits package including relocation support, CME allowance, and student loan assistance. The team currently consists of two GYNs, one OB/GYN, and one midwife. The practice is anchored in a modern medical office building (MOB) attached to the hospital, ensuring seamless coordination between inpatient and outpatient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in call schedule (1:3 rotation; approximately 10 call days per month).
- Collaborate closely with hospital staff, including nurses, therapists, and support staff.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to a collegial and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Comfortable providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience with hospital procedures, deliveries, and gynecologic surgeries.
- Eligible for J-1 Waiver or H-1B visa sponsorship if applicable.
- New graduates with completed residency training are welcome.
