Equipment covered includes life-support and diagnostic devices used in areas such as Intensive Care, Theatres, Special Care Baby Unit, Cardiology, Renal Unit, and general wards.
Working as part of a dedicated engineering team, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance and urgent repairs, ensuring minimal equipment downtime and maximum safety for patients and staff.

Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conduct advanced fault-finding and diagnosis on complex medical systems involving electrical, mechanical, computer, and medical gas components.
Repair equipment to component or circuit-board level where necessary, applying sound engineering judgement.
Communicate effectively with clinical users and technical staff to identify issues, assess urgency, and determine safe resolutions.
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve complex or unusual faults and report technical issues beyond standard documentation.
Ensure that all work is completed in line with Trust policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain accurate service records and contribute to equipment audits and compliance documentation.
About You
