About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to join our BeMS Optimization Division as a Senior Optimization Engineer.

In this role, you will deliver Optimization, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), and Reactive Service work across a wide range of client sectors. Your focus will be on implementing energy efficiency and decarbonisation solutions that deliver measurable energy, carbon, and maintenance savings.

You will work closely with clients on-site and collaborate with our in-house technical and support teams — serving as a key part of our mission to drive energy performance improvements and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver optimization, PPM, and reactive BMS service works across multiple client sites.

Conduct energy optimization surveys on systems such as Trend, Tridium, Cylon, and Siemens, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance building energy performance.

Produce concise energy optimization reports with recommendations for improved control strategies.

Troubleshoot and resolve energy performance issues identified by the Remote Optimization Centre (ROC) team.

Perform software modifications and system adjustments to improve efficiency.

Undertake PPM servicing — including pre-start checks, control panel inspections, sensor and actuator testing, and supervisory software checks.

Identify and scope small works opportunities during PPM visits, ensuring timely reporting and proposal generation.

Provide technical support and clear communication to clients, explaining findings and recommendations effectively.

Respond to reactive callouts, diagnose issues, and complete repairs or minor installations on HVAC-related systems.

Prepare accurate service and activity reports promptly after site visits.

Maintain compliance with Health & Safety standards, ensuring RAMS documentation is reviewed, signed, and followed at every stage.

Uphold professional conduct, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
