About the Role

Send is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with deep expertise in Angular to help build and improve the user experience of our core SaaS product — the Underwriting Workbench. You’ll work on new features, enhance existing components, and contribute to a seamless, intuitive interface used by commercial insurance professionals.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain scalable Angular components for our platform.

Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UI features.

Work within a monorepo using Nx and write modular, package-ready code.

Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to implement new functionality.

Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright.

Conduct code reviews and promote front-end best practices.

Resolve UI issues across multiple devices and browsers.

Support and evolve our design system for consistency and reusability.

Skills & Experience

Required:

Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

Deep expertise in Angular 17+ and its modern features.

Commercial experience writing clean, well-tested Angular code.

Familiarity with state management, ideally NgRx.

Experience building responsive UIs with a high attention to detail.

Confident in writing unit and end-to-end tests.

Skilled in debugging and solving performance issues.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with monorepos (Nx).

Contributions to design systems or scalable UI libraries.

Interview Process

Intro Call (30 mins) – with recruiter to discuss your background and motivation.

Tech Interview (30 mins) – with CTO and an engineer.

Technical Deep Dive (45–60 mins) – focused on technical skills.

Final Call (30 mins) – with one of Send’s founders.
