The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Deputy Print Manager to join B-media, the media services team supporting the Bartlett School of Architecture. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality printing, scanning, and finishing services across our sites, contributing directly to the student and staff experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining specialist print equipment
- Supporting students and staff with print-related enquiries
- Coordinating supplies, logistics, and inter-site transfers
- Promoting safe and efficient working practices
- Supervising temporary staff and producing user guides and instructional content
- Assisting with procurement and promotional activities
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a creative, educational environment.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Significant hands-on experience with professional print technologies and colour management
- Knowledge of finishing techniques and creative workflows
- A customer-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an educational or creative setting
- Familiarity with procurement systems and safe working practices
- The ability to lead and support temporary staff and manage resources effectively
