Living a Better Life in Lancashire

This is an extremely exciting time for us. We have announced Living Better Lives in Lancashire, our new strength-based vision for social care.

We’re advancing creative practice that will benefit our communities, and we’re looking for additional Senior Social Workers to help us realise our vision of assisting individuals in achieving their goals while living freely in their own homes.

Your first priority is to support the Team Manager with complaint resolution, recruitment, supervision, and presenting Best Practice seminars to your team to encourage ongoing improvement.

This fast-paced profession entails interacting with adults who have a variety of mental health issues and require statutory assistance. You will conduct sophisticated evaluations, commission care, perform duty responsibilities, and collaborate as part of a larger multidisciplinary team with a focus on coproduction.

We provide a variety of development possibilities and encourage progression. Senior Social Workers are expected to pursue an Approved Mental Health Professional certificate, if they do not already have one.

We prioritise shared values.

Supportive and Innovative

You’ll need a combination of supportive and imaginative thinking to come up with new ideas and get the best results for others.

Empathy

To support individuals, you’ll need compassion and understanding, as well as the ability to listen to their needs and make them feel valued and appreciated.

Reasons to Join Us:

  • We provide up to 32 days of annual vacation, 8 bank holidays, and two additional statutory days during the festive season. You can also purchase more leave.
  • Flexible working options

  • Health and Wellbeing: A Support Program for You and Your Family.
  • Our employee benefits partner, Vivup, provides access to numerous savings for staff. Our plan includes a car leasing, shopping, entertainment, gym memberships, vacations, and more.
