JOB SUMMARY
We have limited availability for Tier 2 sponsorship for Home Care Assistant roles in Yeovil. To be eligible for this, you must have a UK driver’s licence, access to your own vehicle, and currently reside in the Yeovil area or within commuting distance. We are unable to consider relocation and will only contact candidates who meet these criteria.
As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure that you are compensated for both your contact time and your travel time. In addition, we offer a substantial mileage fee of 40p per mile.

This community-based Home Care Assistant work will serve clients with a variety of requirements, including personal care in their own homes; you must have a UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle. Our Home Care Assistant function is flexible, and we provide care to our clients between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., as well as 4 p.

Our Home Care Assistants receive –
- £12.30 per hour.
- Bank Holiday augmentation rate: £2.00 per hour.
- Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Key responsibilities of Home Care Assistants include:
- Identifying our clients’ needs and abilities, and giving them with personalised care and encouragement
- Helping with medication, meal preparation, and household services.
- Supporting community visits (shopping and leisure outings)
- Regular connection with the office support team.

About You:
- Do you want to positively touch the lives of our clients?
- Do you have any previous experience? This is not required, as comprehensive training is provided.
- Do you hold a UK driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle?
- Do you have business insurance on your vehicle, or are you willing to purchase it?
- Are you flexible in your working hours and available to work every other weekend?
