Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-focused and proactive Warehouse & Dispatch Operations Associate to support the smooth movement of aerospace materials from receipt through to final shipment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that customer delivery schedules are met safely, accurately, and on time.
The position involves hands-on warehouse work, including receiving goods, packing materials to strict aerospace standards, updating systems, and supporting dispatch operations across multiple logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Receive incoming goods and verify them against delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Process and record materials into dispatch and inventory systems with high attention to detail
Pack components and products according to defined aerospace specifications and quality requirements
Maintain and file Certificates of Conformance and related shipping documentation
Operate company vehicles within site premises to move materials between designated areas
Identify and report any non-conforming materials, escalating issues where required
Maintain accurate system records for all packing and dispatch activities
Follow all warehouse and dispatch procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure inventory accuracy
Support Return Material Authorisation (RMA) processes, including inspection and processing of returns
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
Assist across warehouse functions including stores, packing, and receiving based on operational needs
Skills, Experience & Requirements
We are looking for someone who brings:
- A proactive and responsible attitude with strong communication skills
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials handling environments
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic IT skills
Understanding of aerospace or high-precision materials handling (ESD, HazMat, MSD awareness desirable)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and packing processes
A valid UK driving licence (Forklift Truck licence desirable but not essential)
A flexible and team-oriented approach to work
Working Environment
