What the Role Involves
As the clinical lead, you will balance leadership responsibilities with day-to-day veterinary work. Your key duties will include:
- Leading and supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of care
Managing routine medical and surgical cases
Providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues at different stages of their careers
Contributing to decision-making around clinical protocols and service development
Working collaboratively with the wider team to improve patient and client experience
Taking ownership of clinical governance and quality standards
There is no requirement for out-of-hours or on-call work, and weekend commitments are shared fairly within the team.

- Veterinary surgeons (including one pursuing advanced surgical training)

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant registration
Strong clinical skills across general practice
Ability to lead and support a team effectively
Confidence working independently when required

Previous leadership or mentoring experience
