Midwifery Sister Uk Sponsorship Available

April 8, 2024
£43.7 - £50.1 / year

Job Description

Welcome to East Kent Hospitals NHS University Foundation Trust, and thank you for considering us as an employer.

We are searching for a highly motivated, empathetic leader to coordinate day-to-day operations on the delivery suite. The applicant will be responsible for promoting safety and excellence by serving as the clinical expert on shift, coordinating care, and communicating with the multidisciplinary team. This will necessitate exceptional leadership, management, and communication abilities consistent with our We Care values.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Band 7 midwife who is dedicated to provide a high-quality service to the women and birthing people of East Kent.

We value growth and development, create supportive work environments, and actively connect with our teams and women. Our completely revised training programme incorporates human factors training as a golden thread throughout, allowing us to provide high-quality, safe care to all.

Previous applicants are not required to reapply.

The midwifery sister will provide managerial support and direct line management for the assigned setting, while keeping their clinical skills and practice. The post holder will assist the Midwifery Matron in the planning and modernisation of service delivery, which will initially be a core function of the role, while sustaining service provision within the area of responsibility and contributing to the delivery of key performance outcomes.

If you believe you possess these traits and wish to join our teams at this exciting moment, we look forward to hearing from you.

We are one of England’s major hospital trusts, with five hospitals and community clinics servicing a population of about 800,000 people. Our vision is “excellent healthcare from amazing people.” Everything we do is guided by our values: “People feel cared for, safe, respected, and certain that they are making a difference.” We have a new style of working at East Kent Hospitals called ‘We Care’. It is about empowering frontline staff to drive daily changes. We are searching for compassionate people to join us on our mission to enhance the lives of the patients, families, and carers we serve on a daily basis.

Applications for this position should be written by the applicant. If artificial intelligence (AI) programmes are employed, the application may be refused because this paper is an essential component of the assessment process. This does not exclude candidates from requesting appropriate support with their applications if they require it for any declared handicap.

Please keep in mind that if you need a Certificate of Sponsorship to work in the UK, you must state it on your application form, even if you already have one or a work permit for another role and are working in the nation. Please keep in mind that we can only sponsor individuals on a Skilled Worker Visa who apply for employment in Band 5 and above.
