About the Opportunity

University Health Physicians (UHP), the academic clinical partner of the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine, is seeking passionate and dedicated Med/Peds faculty physicians to join our growing Internal Medicine–Pediatrics section. As part of the teaching team at Truman Medical Centers / University Health, you will have a meaningful role shaping the next generation of physicians while delivering exceptional patient care within an urban, mission-driven health system.

We offer multiple practice models to align with your career interests, including:

• Ambulatory-only primary care
• Hybrid roles combining outpatient and inpatient responsibilities

This position is ideal for physicians who enjoy academic medicine and want to integrate teaching, clinical practice, mentoring, and innovative care delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med/Peds)
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care
• Interest in academic engagement, learner development, and team-based care
