About the Role

Henley Business School is seeking to appoint an exceptional academic to join the Department of Leadership, Organisations, Behaviour & Reputation as an Associate Professor. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a scholar with a strong international research profile and a genuine commitment to innovative, learner-centred teaching in Coaching and Organisational Behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching across postgraduate programmes such as MBA and MSc, with opportunities to contribute to Executive Education.
  • Use facilitative and collaborative teaching approaches that engage experienced and senior learners.
  • Maintain and further develop a strong, internationally visible research portfolio aligned with the School’s strategic priorities.
  • Publish in high-quality academic journals and contribute to research impact activities.
  • Supervise postgraduate and doctoral students where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the School and wider University to strengthen teaching, research, and academic citizenship.

About You

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience of teaching at postgraduate level (MBA, MSc or equivalent); executive education experience is desirable.
  • A proven track record of excellence in both teaching and research within Coaching, Organisational Behaviour, or closely related fields.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with experienced, demanding, and diverse student cohorts.
  • The capacity to work independently while contributing actively to team-based academic environments.
  • A commitment to inclusive education, professional integrity, and continuous improvement.
