An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of the University of Glasgow Children’s Choir.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the University of Glasgow Children’s Choir in collaboration with the National Schools Singing Programme. This position will involve delivering exceptional experiences for young people within the wider Glasgow City Council community. Responsibilities include teaching, administrative tasks, and research activities at the outreach level, engaging pupils and teachers in schools as requested by the St Andrew’s Foundation, and aligning with the University’s civic mission.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offered on a fixed-term basis for up to three years initially. Relocation assistance will be provided where applicable.

Please note, the position requires membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment, as it involves regulated work with vulnerable individuals. This is necessary to comply with the University’s legal responsibilities under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act.
